Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Bart earned his stripes as an entrepreneur and visionary by founding the Web content management company GX Software in the early days of the World Wide Web. At GX Software, he helped drive growth with his strategic insights into the online market, first as head of sales and business development operations and later as CEO. Bart's firm belief in the power of online engagement subsequently inspired him to co-found BlueConic. Under his leadership, BlueConic has become a highly successful provider of online marketing software. He holds a master's degree in communication and new media from the University of Nijmegen. Martijn van Berkum
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Martijn co-founded and built Web content management market leader GX Software, working alongside Bart as CTO. He then co-founded BlueConic, fueled by a passion to radically improve online engagement by reducing the cross-channel gap that we as consumers notice every day in communicating with brands, large and small. Martijn brings to BlueConic deep experience in product management and business development, expertly integrating technology, the Internet and marketing. He has a passion for staying abreast of cutting-edge tech and anticipating its impact on markets, business, and society. A true visionary, Martijn drives the company's thought leadership, collaborating with R&D and marketing to translate his vision into a world-class product. Cory has spent her career on the cutting edge of marketing technology and brings years working with Fortune 500 clients from various industries to BlueConic. Before joining the BlueCrew, she was an analyst at Forrester Research where she covered business and consumer technology trends and the fast-moving marketing tech landscape. A sought-after speaker and industry voice, Cory’s work has been featured in Venture Beat, Wired, AdAge, and AdWeek, as well as spoken at conferences such as FutureM, MITX, and the Association of National Advertisers. A life-long Bostonian, Cory has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College and spends a considerable amount of her non-work hours screaming wildly for all the local sports teams. The rest of that time is spent hanging with her husband, family, and friends; taking their dog for long hikes; at her CrossFit gym; or – most likely of all – reading. Chief Financial Officer
Harmen holds a degree as Executive Master of Accounting and has a wide-ranging background in financial services and in the technical industry. In his previous job, as a Financial Manager for Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL), he contributed to Apple's continuing expansion in Europe. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all corporate accounting, controlling, tax and finance activities.
SVP, Customer Success
Diane Gordon is an accomplished C-level executive and strategic General Manager with over 25 years of driving retention and growth by creating scalable infrastructure in support of profitable P&Ls and customer loyalty, the basis for minimizing churn. She designs and leads the development of market-leading products, programs and solutions, achieving high growth, while ensuring customer loyalty, and healthy renewal and NCVI rates for technology companies. Gordon’s career includes executive roles in customer care, operations, marketing, product development, product management and corporate development. Most recently, as the Chief Customer Officer of Brainshark, Gordon led all post-sale customer activities, from implementation through expansion and advancement. She held senior, customer-facing positions at Bullhorn and Endeca Technologies (acquired by Oracle). Gordon is a thought leader, speaker, and author in customer care and success. She is a member of the Athena Alliance, an organization that advocates for women in the Boardroom.
Michele has 15 years of experience from various perspectives within the digital marketing and advertising ecosystem. Prior to joining BlueConic as the head of marketing, she launched and ran the product marketing department at multi-touch attribution leader, Visual IQ, before its acquisition by Nielsen just over 2 years later. Michele also spent more than 8 years in digital media planning/buying and analytics roles serving Fortune 500 brands at global media agencies, Carat and Havas. Despite her love of living in Boston, Michele is a proud, born-and-raised Jersey girl. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication from Boston University with a liberal arts concentration in philosophy. When she's not philosophizing about customer data at BlueConic, you can find her hiking the trails, attending any one of the local Boston Sports Clubs, and trying new recipes.
VP, Inside Sales
Kevin has spent most of his career working within fast-paced marketing startups that are primed for rapid expansion and growth. Before the BlueConic days, he held a number of roles at Brafton, a content marketing agency, during some of their most impressive years of expansion. He was one of their first account managers, played a vital role in opening up their San Francisco office, and worked with a team of three to launch the video marketing division. Kevin grew up on Boston’s South Shore before attending the University of Massachusetts where he received a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics. He is an avid hockey and Bruins fan. To this day, the only things more important than hockey are his family, friends, and the BlueCrew.
