What have you learned in your time at BlueConic – about startups, about your role, about your team, about yourself?
A: I’ve learned that having a good attitude every day is the best way to handle a stressful job.
What has challenged you the most? How did you deal (or are you dealing) with that challenge?
A: My biggest challenge was perfecting the cold call. It’s a completely different dynamic than a warm call and it takes a lot of trial and error to perfect the cold call.
If you could change one thing about your time here so far, what would it be?
A: I wish that I started earlier.
What’s your advice to the newest members of the Crew (if you’ve been here) OR what was your acclimation to BlueConic like (for the newer folks)?
A: Some days are harder than others. Only way to come back from a tough day is to get back on the phone and keep pumping your legs.
Why are you at BlueConic – what was it about your interview that you remember and made you want to be here? What keeps you here?
A: The excitement of having a challenging job with a lot of upward mobility. It was clear when I was in the interview with Kevin and Cory that they didn’t come here to play any games. It was something I wanted to be a part of.
In the near and middle term, what are you focused on? What would you like to do that you aren’t or haven’t been able to do?
A: I want to be able to handle every part of the sales process. I want to eventually running complete demos flawlessly.
What is your favorite BlueConic product feature?
A: The Sun Burst
What is your proudest moment at BlueConic?
A: Hearing the news that (one of my favorite companies) reached back out to us after exploring our website.
What would others be surprised to learn about BC/your job?
A: That half the Boston office is Dutch.

A: “You can’t teach hustle.”
What is something on your bucket list?
A: To backpack another continent
