Overview
Betty Crocker was looking for a way to promote its classic recipes and some new ones. They looked to Experiences by Jebbit to develop Recipe Roulette, a fun way to ‘gamify’ the task of finding a new recipe.
Solution
Pinners are asked to choose an event and then a Pinterest trend to spin for their next recipe. Recipe pins then spin by in a slot-machine inspired wheel until it lands on 2 custom recipes. Pinners can then click on a recipe to be redirected to the Betty Crocker site or they can hit the ‘Spin Again’ button to try again.
Results
80% of pinners clicked on the recipe after spinning, being brought to the Betty Crocker site
90% average completion rate
